Alternating between generators has an irregular speed?

I'm trying to get two oscillators to alternate at an even rate in Morphine:
1. I created sounds on oscillators on A and C
2. In the Morph\Mix area I created a series of paths going back and forth between Generator A and Generator C. To create these I dragged the path from one corner to the next, moved off, right-clicked, and then dragged again. After creating about ten of these paths, I dragged the nodes so that they and the paths overlapped cleanly--looking at the screen, one would think that there is only one path running from A to C.

But the alternation rate between the sounds varies: If I play a single note, it wobbles, so to speak, instead of pulsing between the two generators.

What am I doing wrong? (Looping is turned off.)

Well, I tried this again, but dragged the node to the upper right corner instead of the lower right corner, and it now seems to work fine. Not sure what was going on.
