Assuming you're talking about using it in FL Studio, notes in the step sequencer are triggered but have no real end. They end when the sound stops or the next note is triggered.
You should try the piano roll, in there notes have a length and thus a real end point.

1. make sure you don't have any notes in the step sequencer
2. open the piano roll for the channel
3. add some notes
That's all, really. The notes will be released when playback reaches their end position. Note that they may still make sound for a little while, depending on the type of sound.
As for the "note release", that only works with plugins that support it. I don't think PoiZone does.

i added notes in piano roll but it doesnt add and when i removed notes from sequencer,it doesnt play anything now!!how can i add my notes in piano roll?? i added it in ticks but it doesnt add in roll and it doesnt save it also!!reflex wrote:1. make sure you don't have any notes in the step sequencer

What do you mean when you say that you "added notes in piano roll but it doesnt add"?
Normally when you open the piano roll, you just have to click somewhere inside it to add a note.

This is a sound with a relatively long release (although you don't really hear most of it).
What happens if you open the channel settings window and then play a note there?

i add my notes in ticks and it plays but it doesnt stop and i tried to play in piano roll but still the sound keeps on going!!!
