I was quite pleased by the video demos actually (I know youtube quality isn't top notch but at least it gives an idea). Though I'm not squre you value my opinion as much as ttoz's :p
Too bad there's no mac version yet but will for sure give it a try when it will be available.

What does eary mean? Or is it a pun I didn't get?ttoz wrote:I thought it sounded a bit eary personally.

Hi,
Thanks for this topic
EAReverb is currently being totally "re-coded" (optimization, cross-platform, ...)
Its sound will not be different (or at least, current users will have the possibility to get it sounding the same), but a Mac version should be available in the next future.
Ttoz, I'm not sure I understood what's going wrong with Logic. Could you please give me some details about it ?
I'm very curious about the meaning of "eary" as well
Cyphersuit, I received a nice amount of positive feedback about EAReverb. Though, how you will like it or not is very subjective.
A demo is available (currently Windows 32bit only) if you want to give it a try.
Best regards.

Haha, I think ttoz was kidding since "ear" is in your company name. And the logic part of his post is in his signature and not about the reverb.PFozz wrote:Hi,

Thanks Brent!
I didn't see the '-------'
Feel free to contact me if you want to review the next build
For those who speak German, a review is already available at Buenas Ideas (DIRECT LINK)
Otherwise, a google translation of this page should give an idea...
Oh... and you can even win a copy of EAReverb (and various other things) over there (AFTER XMAS SPECIAL)

I tried it and i like what i hear a lot.
I'm guessing the reason people aren't talking about it much is that there are more and more good software reverb on the market now. Did you consider keeping the price as it is?
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for your message!
It's good to have such a positive feedback (here and elsewhere).
Even if I did some serious audio related things during the past 10 years, eaReckon is a very young company (less than one year).
I spent almost 99% of the time on development and support which is what I like to do.
My best bet would probably be to focus a bit more on promotion, ads, etc. but well... I must admit I'm not a marketing genius even if I begin to understand how important it is.
That may be another reason why people don't talk about EAReverb (and BloXpander) much.
Otherwise, I'm working on EAReverb 1.1.2 (featuring some more optimization + improved spatial coherency) and BloXpander 1.2.4.
If everything goes well, EAReverb 1.1.2 should be released within 10 days.
On the price, it will be €89 (about $125 these days) until February 15 2011. This is the only thing I can be sure of right now...
Thanks again!
Kind regards,
Philippe

Thanks ttoz.
FYI, a new version has been uploaded some minutes ago (1.1.2).
It features an improved coherence of spatial image and some more optimization.
I will announce it in various places very soon.
Kind regards,
Philippe

Hi Philippe,
The German reviewer's conclusion sounds enticing and made me very curious about Eareverb.
I'm currently in Shanghai for the Spring Festival and, unfortunately, www.eareckon.com seems unavailable here - any mention of Dalai Lama on your site?
Is there an alternative download option for your demo, perhaps?
Best,
Joachim

If it were easy, anybody could do it!
