Looking at picking up an iPad (should i wait for v2?) so I'm looking for recommendations along the line of gestural control ->/ midi / osc sending to MBP.
What do I need to know?

Amazing. I got an ipad recently and i've been kind of overwhelmed by it to the point where i leave it in it's box and feel a bit scared. I had a good sesh with Nanostudio last night and it was great, reckon i could defo write some music in that.
This fairlight app just shows that there's going to be no end to great apps for the ipad. I'm just pissed i got an ipad recently cos the new version is going to come out and piss all over it (probably)

Has the rumour of an announcement on Feb 9th got anything to do with anything?
Will iPad 2 truly benefit me?
Is 256MB really that much of an encumberance?
I won't be watching vids on it, don't need retina/face detection or care for cameras back and forth..

As it stands the ipad is very powerful and none of the apps i've used so far have really put any stress on it at all. So i'm not sure how much of a leap the new model will be.
