I may be the last person in the world still on Albino 2, but now i'm thinking of upgrading to 3. I'm just a little bit worried, because i use Albino in several unfinished projects, so I thought i'd ask anyone who knows:

1. Does 3 live beside 2 (like NI upgrades), or does it replace it?

2. Will my projects survive, will they still sound the same?

You might be better off contacting Linplug via the website. They seem...sporadic in their forum support.

No problems there. From memory the Albino 2 VSTi is known as "Albino" and the Albino 3 is known as "Albino3"... I remember needing to do the same thing back in the day, migrate my Albinos over...

The Albino 2 patches are compatiable with 3 also...

Starting to miss that synth actually

EDIT: Oh, and the sound is sometimes a tiny bit different, but it's better
