try kaotica controls:

patch CC output to volume and you've got sort of the same thing - if I understand correctly what this plug does

Looks like Metaphysical Function, an instrument for Reaktor :

Definitely not like it! Metaphysical Function is an audio beast with crazy possibilities. This, I don't get it. Except volume variation and stereoscopic effect (which, lets be honest any random lfo linked to the pan or volume can do the same effect), I really don't see the utility of this plugin. I'm missing something here or what?UltraJv wrote:Looks like Metaphysical Function, an instrument for Reaktor :

Chaotic in a "chaos theory' kind of way. Looks like it's built around a strange attractor - non repeating but smooth movement.
..what goes around comes around..

Clearly you havnt tried it. Reaktor is capable of anything as its a synth construction kit. Metaphysical Function sounds unlike anything ive heard before. YMMV.Neon Breath wrote:Definitely not like it! Metaphysical Function is an audio beast with crazy possibilities. This, I don't get it. Hmm I don't really understand you're point. And yes I tried it, I use Reaktor and Metaphysical Function in my work. I was just saying that this sinevibes drift plugin has nothing in common with Metaphysical Function, that's it.UltraJv wrote:Clearly you havnt tried it. Hey all!
Drift isn't a complex plugin, but it can be fun in a few scenarios, mainly on pad and noise sounds. Everything it can do is pretty much in the plugin's description on the Sinevibes site. But you can grab the demo and see how it can be used in what you do. Once again, try it on pads, ambient sounds, etc.
BTW chaos and randomness is not the same thing
Chaos can be close to smooth vibrations, much like a sine wave with a constantly drifting frequency.
