A new free release for ye KVRtists... Carlo Serafini has partnered with Split Notes to share his album of xenharmonic guitar songs. It's a chilled out and melodic collection where every track uses a microtonal scale called 'Gamma'.

More info is on the release page, especially in regards to the microtonal Gamma scale... Something quite different in terms of melodies and harmonies, but still accessible and likeable (we hope)!!

I listened to "Gammatar" and "Gamma Monk" and enjoyed them both, "Gamma Monk" probably more. I'll be checking out the rest of the album (and the blog) soon. Thank you.

Interesting stuff. Being quite unfamiliar with micro tonality it makes me feel rather disoriented, but in a pleasant way. Thanks for sharing!
