A song I finished around christmas. I have no better explanation for the title other than that I visited Trondheim in Norway this summer and that I was thinking about the nice city when I made the song You can listen to it here or at Myspace.
Oh, I used my Shruthi-1 for the first time in this project

some neat synth sounds in here throughout.
what i dig about the chord progression is how simple it is, while still being effective and varied. i like when the drums drop out in the middle.
some of the middle/higher register stuff (i think its saw wave type stuff in the middle) seems a tad loud compared to the rhythm tracks.
i think the kick could use a little more "boom" if you could pull that off without muddying the mix. personal taste, really.
love the "acid" sound at the end!
nice composition overall, driving yet emotive.

Thanks guys
I made the mix in Isone Pro but I had probably worked on the song so long that I didn't hear how it really sounded like anymore.funky lime wrote:some of the middle/higher register stuff (i think its saw wave type stuff in the middle) seems a tad loud compared to the rhythm tracks.

Pretty
Stereo-spread is clever / feels wide
The choice of sounds is very smart
Composition has some great arpeggios
The swooshes give it that wow factor
Great.
