Eurorack modular, Arturia Arp2600v and U-He Bazille each processed with Guitar Rig and sequenced by Numerology with a Launch Pad. The whole thing was performed and recorded in one pass, no edits.

Thanks for listening.

Only about half way through it then I'm going to have to leave to go home. Like it so far - it really reminds me of old sci-fi TV and movies when the musicians could do what they wanted rather than get told to write some cheesy theme.

I wish I could do this - I struggle so much to get this sort of thing going as I'm so used to using a keyboard.

Yeah, keyboard is not conducive to this kind of thing. I think the most difficult part for me is ignoring equal temperament. There is so much that just sounds wrong tonally, especially with the heavily FMed and granulated parts. I'm getting used to it though.

Thanks for listening. :)

Very nice sounds.. liked the warbly changing LFO speed stuff around 3:30 especially.. Nice feel to it too generally, sort of meditative.

thanks

Retrofuture's here, robots farting in the dark back alleys of our analog city. Don't stray from the popular paths without an electric knife or something in your pockets.

good for imagination, this.

Thanks guys! I really like how, without any reference to regular notes, this kind of thing is very open to interpretation. Of course the synthesized sounds are going to evoke technological imagery, but in my minds eye I see little amoeba and protozoa scooting around. There was a game for the PS3 (can't remember the name) where you played a single celled organism and it had a very minimal sound track that responded to cues as you played. Something like that anyway. :D
