I don't own the Hollow Sun Hammond library, but I do have B4II. Have you looked at GSI's VB3? (http://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=24) I found it to be a very good emulation. I see you're using Kontakt 4; if you got it with Komplete 7, you will have the Vintage Organs. It's worth a look.
No matter what you choose for your Hammond sounds, you should check out IK Multimedia's Amplitube 3; it has the best Leslie simulation I've ever heard. Now that the basic program is free and you can buy components ala carte, you can get a killer virtual Leslie pretty cheap; http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitubefr ... l&T=6&C=25.

VB3 is several leagues above B4-II, that's all I'm gonna say. I heartilly recommend it, because no sampled Hammond comes close to this little bugger. It's a STEAL at 50€!
As for NI stuff, it's pretty high quality (just not Akoustik and Elektrik Piano ), but the newer Scarbee stuff that comes in Komplete 7 is downright amazing, and Independence has nothing on it!

I don't have any audio demos of the Hammonds because they're just a bonus set of sounds I throw in to the Prog Pack.
They're compact and low impact, there are five different sounds using different drawbar settings and they're fine and don't do a bad job and can sound good in a mix especially with the onboard overdrive and Leslie but they in no way compare with B4 or VB3 - it would be pointless pretending they do.
But they're useful in the context of the Prog Pack.
Cheers,
Stephen

I have found that the best sampled organ pack for PROG (at least for now) is RETRO ORGANS which is part of the UVI Workstation (which is now x64)... it's not too expensive and you get many different samples and tones with all types of options (mics used for the sampling, drawbar settings, etc.)... this isn't a virtual organ and you have to load in the different programs but they do sound decent.
I have B4II and a few other virtual organs and quite frankly, the LESLIE sims is where they fall apart. I agree with Steve in that the sampled organ route is great for a mix but not if you want to do some vintage organ vibe type of songs which feature the organ in your face (ELP for example). Also, I know that sampled LESLIE introduce some issues when playing chords but in a mix they sound 100 times better than the modeled organs with the leslie sims. IMHO.

Screw that - sampled Leslie is NOT the correct way of doing it. It will always sound wrong, no matter how you justify it.jkleban wrote:Also, I know that sampled LESLIE introduce some issues when playing chords but in a mix they sound 100 times better than the modeled organs with the leslie sims.
NOT with VB3 VB3 is the best virtual Hammond, period and end of discussion.

EvilD....
Let's just say that you and I agree to disagree since our viewpoints are only opinions.
I just wanted to offer another option to the OP.
