The neck is made out of a crucifix (all legal) - nice straight, solid oak:
Anyway, I just posted the first article, but I've already made the neck which I now need to add the frets to and sand down etc.

UPDATE: I just decided to make this without frets and save the frets I have for the next one. I just want to be sure it works out before spending hours putting the frets in.
