I've been using this app a lot myself for quick and easy edits on my iPhone. It's worth the price for the audio crop feature alone. It has volume normalize too. It doesn't get any easier than this.

There's a FREE version, too. Check it out if you haven't already.

Does it record in stereo from a line in? I'm still looking for an app/hardware combo to enable me to record music tracks (Vinyl) from my HiFi into my iPhone.

No the iPhone only allows a mono input.

Looks nice! How are you going to classify apps that have sequencing built in like AmpliTube or VocaLive? What about loop based apps like GrooveMaker?
