B4 plugin shows up as a effect when I want it to display as a instrument

Hi,
I'm currently evaluating to product and it seems to be perfect except that my beloved B4 plug-in isn't working. It's displayed as an effect and not as a instrument.
I'm not sure where to start looking for a fix or if it's even possible. Does someone have any idea?

Hi Jonas,

you say your B4 doesn't show up as instrument but as effect. Does this concern the name, the surface or the function of your B4?

I called up both B4 and B4Fx to test what you described. Both are exactly looking the same and they also behave the same way (means I can play notes on the Fx version if I like).

I didn't use the Fx part much before but never saw anything like a special Fx-plugin B4 surface.

All in all I can say B4 is running flawlessly here.

Hi,
It's was after further investigations an error introduced by me. When installing B4 I set an incorrect path to the VST-plug-in folder. After reinstalling and setting the correct path, the B4 showed up as expected and it seems to work correctly.

Still, thanks for the reply and I hope that I will decide to buy the product. Have to take it out on a live gig before I make up my mind.
