Synths with good randomize functions

Hello, just wanted to see if you guys could recommend some synths with good randomize functions. Specifically, patch generation, 2 patch " morphing" etc. I find that I program much better results when I'm not starting from scratch and randomization helps me go in new directions with a sound.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Oatmeal still puzzles by also giving a pseudo-random fitting patch name.

Oatmeal has a randomiser that just 'works', always seems to get something at least semi-usable.
Scanned Synth Pro is good too; you can define how much randomness is applied to each section. Maybe set up the volume envelope how you like it then lock it and randomise everything else.
Crystal can do the 'breeding thing' well, start at one patch then mutate away.

Omnisphere with OMNI TR app. Not necessarily randomizing the basic patch- but does randomize parameters that are modulated with the ORB.

I think with any randomize feature they have to be tweaked afterwards to achieve something useful. The idea is that synths have a lot of parameters and tweaking them all with all of the inherent combinations is tedious so randomize is just a way to get a starting point faster.cis-didge wrote:The Sylent randomize have never given me any usefull.Bobbotov wrote:Both Zebra and Sylenth1 have randomize.
And useful I think is relative to the type of music you are creating. Are you going to hit the button and get a perfect sounding lead? Probably not unless really lucky and you are favored by the gods. But you may get some glitchy sound you would have never dreamed of. Or something that is close but just needs a few tweaks. It's the roll of the dice.
The best randomizers allow you to set subset ranges of the randomness. Oscillators only, filters only, etc. HG Fortune has that I believe in some of his synths. Very useful.

For randomness, I love Alchemy it has great random features. Reaktor snapshots random is pretty fun and usefull too cause you can adjust the amount of randomness applied to an already existing snapshot that you might like.

Discovery Pro has a smart randomize function. This results in more usable patches.
