I am on an iPad 2. This app has great potential, and feature wise is average for a 1.0 version. But, it is very buggy, crashes. I am not used of having software crash since I have been using an iPad. So it is really upsetting to have an app crash several times. I even rebooted my iPad, and still FL messes up. I really wanted this to work as I am starting to get into the desktop version

It's been very stable here. What version of iOS are you using 4 or 5?

Note that FL Studio Mobile does not run correctly on iOS 5 Beta.

Use the current iOS 4.3.3

Update:

Only had about an half hour to play last night. Spent a little time this morning (after doing a complete power off of my iPad) before hitting the road. It seems to be much better! Easy to work with, and has the familiar FL look. Biggest need is the ability to import samples (and SF2's would be awesome as well)......

Anyway, I wanted to update and correct the very negative sound of my other post. Will play more tonight

Why oh why this doesn't have it's own synth? Only a series of samples. Image Line makes a lot of good synth but they couldn't afford to put synth in their own fl studio. I've just bought it, and that's my main concern. It's not gonna replace xenon for me.

Another minus at this time is that there is no sample import functionality yet. However Scott from Imageline has stated that this will be in a future upgrade and that they had to draw the line somewhere in terms of features in order to meet a release date. That makes perfect sense to me and I trust that Image Line will add the feature relatively soon in order to make its customers happy and attract more buyers. For the time being you can use the included instruments, play around, get familiar with the interface, and export your project to the full version of FL Studio and change instruments/samples as needed. This was the first thing I checked over at the Image Line forums after watching the intro tutorial video on Youtube and before buying the app. FL Studio is not my primary DAW, but I do own a license and am quite impressed with the regular stream of updates and additions all included for my initial purchase.
