If they are authorized on your system, then they will show up in the processor menu.

Just to make things CLEAR, since you people contradict yourself A LOT recently:

- you only get T-Racks SHELL (Classic EQ and Metering Suite)
- you do NOT get access to the rest of the bundle (example: if you have 5 singles and some of the old classics already, no UPGRADE to Deluxe)
- you still DO NOT get the two new singles on top of it

Am I getting this right?

Question 1:
Why do you say "looking for a way to turn them into a full T-Racks Suite", if you clearly miss the rest of the bunch? This is misleading.

Question 2:
It is STILL NOT possible to upgrade to T-Racks Deluxe if you add even more plugins to the list?

And I still asume, that the two new plugins are also NOT part of T-Racks 3 Deluxe for new owners.

Sorry to derail this, but...

Buy the most recent German Issue of BEAT Magazin (issue #69, July/August 2011) and you'll find T-Racks 3 Shell on it as well. For only 5,90 Euro(!), no VAT extra.

I can confirm this, I have this issue lying on my desk (expected the Magix Vandal SE and am-track SE in there). Didn't install this one yet however.

No matter what you do, enjoy your Calrec UA-8000 Desk PQ1549 EQ inspired EQ from IKM.

Caveat: I got the T-RackS Shell in an eSoundz group buy some time ago. I assume it's the same product that you would get if you bought the $15 deal here.

I just installed T-RackS Shell on a new system, and in addition to the standalone program, I have three VST plugins: the Classic EQ single, the Metering Suite single, and one called "T-RackS" which is the plugin version of the shell (complete with all the routing and loading of multiple singles and so on).

So, yes, for $15 you get two $99 plugins, plus a stand-alone and VST shell to load them into.

As for "not getting access to the rest of the bundle", well, duh, no, none of the other T-RackS plugins are included.

I assume what he meant was that by buying this, you would get the shell which would allow you to combine your Singles into more complex effects chains, ie, a Effects Suite plug-in. Not perhaps the clearest terminology, but I don't think anybody thinks that $15 is going to buy them the full Classic package, let alone Deluxe...

There does not appear to be an "Upgrade" to T-RackS Deluxe for anyone. There's a "Crossgrade" for owners of any IK products, and I'm 99% sure that buying this $15 plugin WILL qualify you for that. But you seem to have a bee in your bonnet about not getting a discount on Deluxe even if you own some number of Singles, and yes, as far as I know that's true. If you want all the plugins in Deluxe, then simply buying Deluxe is by far the least expensive way to do it.

If you're talking about the new Black and White singles, no, those are not part of Deluxe; they must be bought separately, like some of the models in the Amplitube 3 Custom Shop. Don't know if they might be made part of Deluxe in the future; I expect they'll at least be in T-RackS 4 Deluxe whenever that comes out...

Interesting that "users" clear up the questions (which answers seemed obvious to me already, since they're - well... the hot topics from IKM as of late) rather than the IKM crew.

Wording is important, and sayin that this plugin "pack" makes a "suite" out of your singles is just plain misleading IMO. A suite is either "Standard" or "Deluxe", not the "Singles" with bundled "SHELL".

Is that EQ worth it?
Depends - there're worse around for that price, and there're better around as well. If you miss that classic EQ, it's a no-brainer (5,90Euro - come on!). If you want a "CALREC"-alike EQ, the same.

Is the meter worth it?
For me as engineer - too small. I rather use Wavelab and RME DigiCheck.

Will there ever be a suitable upgrade?
The heck do I know - apparently, IKM gives a *crow*.

I just wanted to make this clear and point to "another" deal.

Wording is important, and to be exact they didn't actually say "full 'Standard' or 'Deluxe' suite", they was talking about "a way to turn them into a full T-RackS Suite, complete with the standalone software". So it could be a full suite of what singles you have with the shell included.

A user simply got to it first and explained it quite well. We're not trying to do anything untoward, and I guess it does seem clear to most here. Anybody else that has any issue with the wording can please submit that to any of us here or via the multiple contact methods on the site and we'll take a look at changing it (like I had done for the group buy wording).

Bought it. I already had Classic EQ (boo hoo, right?)

So the install comes with a standalone program, then three VSTs. The shell, Classic EQ and the metering. If you want to get real technical it also comes with the Authorization Manager and I think Quicktime.

It looks just like Deluxe's program/VST shell except with missing modules, unless you have all of the singles. Indeed, the Black 76/White 2A can be loaded into the shell.

Compy, chill out man. This isn't IK's board. I bet if you had asked your questions via IK's support system you would have gotten a quick response. I had an answer within 15 minutes when I emailed them earlier this week.

I'll assume you mean well, but it does _not_ turn anything into full t-racks suite. Unless IK have new policy, I'm still stuck with 11 serials even though I own all the piece, nor can I use the t-racks 3 installer (must download every single separately). I mean I'm even willing to pay little something just so I can stop typing in all those serials you know, but there is no such option.

And who knows what the future upgrade price available people without the "real" Suite. Still packs of singles, not the Suite.

Unless I'm mistaken (and will be happily so), please remove such deceptive statement.

i just bought it, have all the singles authorised on my machine.. (from the group buy the other year) and none of them show in the shell
all thats loading is the included eq!! so what do i have to do? thanks..

damn.. shell is rejected by reaper!!
i knew i should have thought twice, i think i've had issues with just about every bit of ik gear at some stage or other.

just to top it off i cant sign in to my user area.. won't accept my sign in info
I Asked for and got a new password -still wont accept it!

I am definitely getting the Suite Deluxe soon, i'm strechting my wait to see of the IKM guys make a new deal with the Black & White included. Other than that i really like the deals IKM are offering.

In his defence, in this case, i'm glad Compyfox asks questions that some other people might think, but not ask. No disrespect to him or IKM intended. A critical voice is good for dynamics in communication.
