I just bought an iPhone 4 and am now looking for some decent music apps as well as appropriate hardware.

I already have the Wallander apps on my to buy list. What I'm looking for (and need some advice) is a simple 4-8 track recording software as well as some advice on audio input and output. Do you have suggestions for software as well as hardware (if necessary) for audio input and output. Is there a decent controller software for DAWs (I use Cubase 4 Mac) available?
Any tipps are highly appreciated.
