When I start Cantabile, it often fails to load sfz or sfz+, stating that it's a 64 bit plugin (which it's not). Whenever this happens, I can switch to the other, and I have sessions set up using one or the other so I have a workaround.
When it happens, it seems to be consistent, until some other day when it decides the other one is 64-bit.
Any idea what's going on here?
I do have to run Cantabile in XP compatibility mode; otherwise sfz/sfz+ is unable to open files and load soundfonts. Perhaps that's the issue.
Thanks
sfz/sfz+ appears to be 64-bit?

Not quite sure but probably there are hidden options to resolve this - try sending a mail to TopTen software.
Did you test "jBridge" with Cantabile? Maybe it can resolve teh issue too as jBridge allows Cantabile to load 32/64 bit plugins in either Cantabile 32bit or 64bit version.

Thanks: I'll do that.
jBridge would provide another workaround, hopefully providing robust startup for live use. I'm not currently using my laptop live, though I used to and may do so again.
Thanks again!
