Cantabile midi out to hardware

I have problems finding the exact form to send midi out to my hardware synth - I use a Midisport 4x4 for connection to midi in and out - what is the exact way to tell hardware it has to use bank 6 program 71?

Please help me out somebody

...well, simply create a new trigger in triggers menu, set "Event" to "Session Load", select "Send MIDI Program Change..." in the action menue, select the MIDI Device and MIDI Port in the "Action" menu and select the MIDI channel you want to send on.

In the Send MIDI Program Change... folder you will get a menu where you can deside the format of the prgram change (you find a short descrition of the possibilities on the bottom of the window). In your case and corresponding to your example it should be: 6.71

--Did this actually work?? because I don't see anywhere in the Action Menu a choice for "MIDI DEVICE" and "MIDI PORT"

I'm stuck. All I'm trying to do is send a program change to an external hardware device.

Any help much appreciated.

sorry, what I meant was the "Target" folder: here you can chose the MIDI-Port, a little bit to the right you can chose the midi channel.
