Assign midi controller to Record function

I'm trying to assign the record button on my keystation 88 pro to the record button in cantabile. But after I assign the button, nothing happens when I press it. The play, stop etc buttons are working fine.

One thing I noticed is that for all other transport functions, the action for the assign controller is 'Invoke' (it was automatically assigned by cantabile). For the 'Record' function, though, this action is not available (only on/off, latch and toggle).

Any ideas on how I can get this working?

Not sure what you refer to with "Invoke", are you using cantabile telnet?

I've checked switching midi and audio record on/off via telnet and it seemd to work nicely.

Not sure about midi assignments so far. Did you try to assign midi controllers on the home tab or the record tab?

Curious to hear more about that...
