Does FL Studio allow for sample importation?

I'm working on a lead line at the moment, and i'd love to be able to do this on the train.
The plan would be to sample a couple bars of the background track (ie, kick, bassline, etc) as well as the lead timbre. I can then rearrange the latter until i'm satisfied (ie, never

Excellent!! For several reasons:
a) I bought it last night anyway,
b) I couldnt work out how to do it,
c) It makes it a useable app now.
