SonicProjects OP-X PRO-II:
Bugfix 1.1 update and new free soundbank available!

Image

1.Reload 002 soundbank:

Demo video:

The bank includes edited, improved and new patches, including some of our all-time-favourite sounds, so this is a must have!

You can download it here:
http://www.sonicprojects.ch/opxpro2/userarea.html

Also works in the demo version!

Bugfix 1.1 update:

A free update which should fix some reported possible issues in some hosts and with some drivers and audio interfaces.

NOTE: YOU DON'T NEED TO UPDATE IF EVERYTHING WORKS FOR YOU!

There are no new functions or sounds! Version 1.1 is 100% identical to 1.0, cpu consumption is the same too. If you however should have one of the below listed issues then chances are high that 1.1 will fix it.

List of fixed possible issues:

- Ableton Live 8: Crash when looping
- Ableton Live 8: Crash when jumping around in timeline
- FL Studio 10: No sound in wrapper
- Bank load button not working properly
- Problems with some windows system drivers (MME/Direct-X)
- Problems with some USB and Firewire interface drivers
- CPU load rises to maximum although it's a modern CPU
- Not working in NI Kore 2
- Not working in NI Maschine
- Possible issues in Reaper
- Possible issues in Sonar 8.5
- Possible conflict with Yellow Tools Halls of Fame Origami

Detailed update notes:
http://www.sonicprojects.ch/opxpro2/update11notes.html

As an OP-X PRO-II owner you should have received an update mail. Otherwise read the update notes.

Thanks to all beta testers!

Have much fun with OP-X PRO-II 1.1 and the Reload 002 bank!

Great news! Can't wait to try that new bank Peter, the sounds on the video are great

Post

I can't load up the bank till tomorrow :( but is there a list of the sounds included in the bank? I am interested to see what's in there.

I did hear a newer version of the Jump preset in there, but was wondering about some others. They all sound great!

Thanks ahead of time 8)

Thank you :-)

For 1.0 you just had to activate "use fixed size buffers" in the processing tab of the wrapper (it's in the faqs), which now isn't necessary anymore with 1.1

Great Sounds. Thanks a lot for this.

Piet :)

Would it work on a Mac in Vienna Ensemble Pro?
Best wishes

Don't know this one very well, but I guess it only can load mac plugins

Btw, the patch "OB-X Space Sweeps" which can be heard at 08:03 in the video, was inspired by this video (check the part at 00:52):

The main motivation to re-program it was one of the the comments saying that "No software emulation can can quite obtain that warmth and smoothness"

I think the patch comes quite close...

I agree!

I am putting together a little demo using maybe 12-13 sounds, i'll upload it to Soundcloud probably tonight or tomorrow. 8)

It's just so people can get another chance to hear those great sounds.
I'll make it downloadable as the quality isn't the best on SoundCloud.

That way they'll have an option to hear it from the WAV file, and not compressed by SoundCloud.

Here is a little demo I made with some of the presets from that new bank. Click the little arrow to download the 16-bit WAV file, sounds way better that way. 8)
