Albino 3 Crashes (Cubase & Live) & patches corrupted

Hi,
I have been experiencing unstable Albino behavior since the very beginning I started using it (feb 2011). Both on Live 8, as well as Cubase Artist 6.

What happens is this. Albino makes the DAW crash. Then when the DAW is restarted and I want to load the presets in Albino I had been working on most recently, they are corrupt and cannot be loaded;error message Bank Load Error, or error message Bank Load Error format mismatch Order 0 Size 0. The preset saved last before the crash is usually 0kB on file, the others are 53kB but refuse to load. When loading a project, the various instances of Albino containing a preset of this preset-folder will load the wrong preset (the one listed above the correct one). Settings in Albino that were not saved as a preset are gone, replaced with the different preset. I have tried copying the presets to a different folder, disregarding the corrupt presets but problem persists.

I don't mind occasionally crashing but losing presets and having to manually change every preset every time I open my project is not practical. Sometimes I save presets with subtle differences, tweaking them further in Albino. All this effort is lost when I don't consistently save everything as I go along. When the presets themselves go corrupt on top of that there is frustration!
Problem is consistent in Live 8 and Cubase Artist 6.

Is there a way to save/repair the presets that won't load and fix the dodgy preset loading?

system specs:
Mac OS X 10.6.8
MBP 2.66GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM
using Built in audio, ASIO driver
Cubase Artist 6/Ableton Live 8
Albino 3

please send a crash log to support@linplug.com. We currently have two other customers with a similar issue, but have not yet been able to track this down. Preset which are gone (0 kb) cannot be recovered, unfortunately.
