Which iPad to get? Size, original or 2, etc.

Hi everyone, wondering if a 16gb original iPad is good enough to get for a live sound setup. (rather not spend extra money if I don't have to)

Looking to initially do 3 things-- vocal with nice reverb, guitar effects (either acoustic or electric), and midi keyboard-- at the same time. Maybe later I will get into music production with it, so that is a consideration for future growth.

Is a 16gb original ipad good enough you think?

Is 16gb enough space for the apps and their samples? Looking for the best sound possible, so best samples I can get in an app.

Also, Is the original iPad powerful enough if iPad 2 needed?


Completely new to this so any directional or specific advice would be greatly appreciated!

16gig iPad 2. Will do the job, and the dual core and 512 ram are worth the bucks.....
