Midi-Gate plugin (Midi track gates another Midi track!)?

I'm using Cubase SX2.

Is there any VST-Midi Plugin which can gate midi tracks with other midi-tracks? (This would mean long midi notes are copied to several shorter midi notes if gating time is shorter than length of the note.)

There's a plugin "Midi-Gate" which uses a midi track to gate an audio track. But I couldn't find a midi gater for midi tracks.

If that's not existing is it possible to program?
