So, we are near december.Is someone have news about sampletank update ?
Ipad version, recording and sequencing
and free as promise ?

As promised, the universal 1.1 update of SampleTank iOS is in its way. Stay tuned for more details in December...

Looking forward to the update, and sooo hoping it fixes the issue with audio static on the Alesis IO dock. I bought this, and all the sound libraries, as a performance tool, and have been unable to use them so far. Still a fan of the app, just keeping my fingers crossed....

That is a priority for the upcoming SampleTank iOS update.

What exactly is a free upgrade? Reason I ask is because you guys (along with a few other music-related apps) love to nickel and dime with in-app purchases, such as the recording and additional sounds. I don't mind paying for additional sounds, but the added recording capability was kind of insulting in Amplitube for iOS.

Did they upgrade any of the Midi functions? eg. setting key ranges right in the app, so only one midi channel is needed. Not many keyboards these days can transmit over more than one channel at a time. (and users that have one that does, probably aren't in the market for this app.)

BTW, that twitter link just redirects to the main homepage.

edit: The in app manual only shows on half the screen, with the other half blank.

You can layer instruments to play on the same midi channel but you can not set key ranges at this time.
