Two simple questions from a new Rhino owner

Just purchased Rhino a few days back. Very happy so far with all the great presets - many with surprisingly moderate cpu usage. Two relatively simple questions though:

- my settings dont seem to be saved in Tracktion. I edited a patch from one of the factory banks slightly, and it doesn't load with the song. Instead I saved it to .fxp and load it up seperately, but thats quite a hassle (especially if I had many instances of Rhino needing such attention)

- is the only way to use an lfo by turning an osc into an lfo? So if I use 6 oscs I can't use any lfo's? Or is there a workaround? And do oscs used as lfo's take as much cpu as a normal osc?

Thanks for the great synth 'Tick. :)

Floyd,

Welcome on board :-)
The first question has been addressed in detail in this thread, basically, you have to use the "load bank" option to load a bank if you want the settings to be remembered. This annoyance will be fixed in the next update.

Regarding LFO's, lfo'ed oscillators use the same amount of cpu as normal ones. Because of this, it is often preferable (and more flexible too) to use the envelopes to draw lfo patterns.

Hope this helps,
'Tick
