Sonic Core is Releasing SCOPE 6 wich intergrates SCOPE REALtime plugins with the Parseq Sequencer. The SCOPE platform is now EXTREMELY open for developers , one can now use C++ APPS, have greater access to Sonic Core devices and hardware on a deeper level to build your own, and even create your own dsp platform to run SCOPE algorithms. It's deep, here's a link that'll explain more than i can but SCOPE 6 now allows for extremely low-level developement and very Sophisticaed, greater hardware access, more universal developers kit, etc etc it's deep. here's link - www.soniccore.com
PS. SCOPE has always been a flexible platform but now Sonic Core has brought it to another level.

T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

Yes price was always a issue with many. One still need to buy XITE hardware to develope but things are much cheaper and the Platform is far more powerfull and portable now. Workflow was a problem for some thus the intergration with the new DAW Parseq should solve all problems (i've always loved SFP mode myself), Modular 4 modules can be used in this DAW to build your own Synths, Effects, etc. Automation, control surface support the worx. And the Biggest of all is that the API is available for any Native DAW to have intergration of SCOPE's REALtime platform built in. It makes SCOPE capable of being Universal with it's REALtime plugins far as DAW support goes and is far far beyond Pro tools in what can be accomplished with REALtime-dsp and Host integration (not limited to one host but other DAW's like Reaper, Sonar, Cubase, etc can be used and SCOPE is the most complete dsp platform far as synths, samplers, Modular, effects, SDK, etc goes).
I remember workflow was one of your complaints. Sonic Core is trying to get you back on board
Here's a link to the new DAW - http://www.audiobiscuit.de/en/Parseq
PS. The possibilities are truly endless with SCOPE and this is no hype. ANYTHING can now be coded for the SCOPE Platform and one also have deep access to the DSP hardware and can Modify Sonic Core's own pre-built plugins, aswell as develope anything from scratch. Developers who wish to have their own hardware platform can have it with SCOPE technology. The STS samplers already run on both SCOPE dsp's and the Native Computer simultaneously so other devices can be developed using both cpu and REALtime-dsp's for as much power that is needed and critical zero-latency performance when needed. SCOPE's internal engine allows for devices to use either 40bit float or 32bit fixed or both with it's unique hybrid-mode. Porting any algo to SCOPE should be no problem now. More developers can also harness the best copy-protection around wich is DSP's.
Sonic Core has gone far beyond my expectations with SCOPE 6, OPEN-SCOPE, and the new DAW, and has kept with SCOPE's theme of completeness, flexibility and openess but has taken it all to another level.
Some nice key features:
What is OPEN SCOPE in particular?
OPEN SCOPE is the most powerful DSP audio hardware open for 3rd party "visionaries".
develop any kind of software application that requires a strong DSP hardware
use any C++ library to create an application using SCOPE hardware
the software is easily adaptable to MAC OS / iPad / Linux / etc…
implement the SCOPE DSP hardware in your system, whatever it planned to be:
a guitar effect rack, a synthesizer, a digital mixer, an IO interface or (as we did) an XITE.
OPEN SCOPE GUI API
The OPEN SCOPE GUI API (Graphical User Interface / Application Interface) provides a way to create GUIs for OPEN SCOPE applications and plug-ins.
Features
OPEN SCOPE is the most powerful DSP audio hardware open for 3rd party "visionaries".
no limits to what a new GUI can look like
create modern, up to date interfaces
add the features you are missing
based on a cross platform framework for OSX, Linux, iOS etc.
any C++ library (e.g. JUCE, QT, VST GUI etc.) can be used
completely detached from the previous SCOPE SDK
no longer limited to controls provided by the previous SDK.

This is gonna be awesome!
Can't wait to see how things develop for Scope and Xite, and the Parseq host looks promising as a sort of DSP-driven VST integration doo-hickey!

Yeah, I'm still running my Pulsar I from '99, and Scope Pro from '02.spirit wrote:Chucked my old 6-dsp Pulsar-II in the bin a couple of days ago. Maybe I should pull it out ?
IMO this development easily adds many more years to these cards.
Most likely SC has new hardware planned at some point as well.

Why did'nt you follow the advice you where given in the last thread about SCOPE you jumped in stateing how useless SCOPE was to you? You where told to sell it then, what do you wish to hear now? No offense but you seem to make a point to point out uselessness and that you threw it in the garbage under the mask of wanting advice.

I might be offended if I could understand that gibberish. Just stick to talking about Scope. And if it helps, I've decided it can stay in the bin.sounddesigner wrote:No offense but you seem to make a point to point out uselessness and that you threw it in the garbage under the mask of wanting advise.
