Hello forum,
I know jazz is not about playing the 2-5-1's, but in my tiny newbie mindframe, I really want to discover some new lines to get me inspired.
Please share some 2-5-1 licks that you sounds cool to you.
You don't have to transcribe it, I think you can just post YouTube links or something.
Cheers,
Cool 2-5-1 licks

Traditionally, we use Roman Numerals to indicate chords, so for example II-V-I.halfstep wrote:Please share some 2-5-1 licks that you sounds cool to you.
This progression has been used in many styles of music for over 300 years, however is it just jazz that you are interested in?
Unfamiliar words can be looked up in my Glossary of musical terms.
