Hi,
I've bought Apres Ski Expansion for Nexus2. I feel that some SQ's (for example: SQ Beautiful Beat) have issues with played harmonies. I've open a call already, but the ReFX Developer told me, that he was not the initial Preset Programmer and he can not help me.
Does anybody have the same issues with the Apres Ski Pack ?

Thanks
Christian

Was it Mike that told you that?
REFX commissioned the soundpack and only they can therefore contact the programmer to resolve any errors in it. Crank2 in particular had many errors in the sample mapping and I contacted them repeatedly to point this out and some, at least, were sorted.

I've ping ponged with Jessica and then Mike stepped in. They advised me to go the MIX and change / disable the unwanted arps. But that's not a solution for me.
I was a little bit confused because the MP3 and Video demos on their website haven't got that mistunes.

You can hear disharmonies within the string part inside a few SQ's. SQ Beautiful Beat is one which you can hear it enormously .

I pointed out some errors in xps too, including crank2. They fixed everything and really fast.
Finally!

There are *still* bad sample mappings in Crank2. I gave up emailing them aout Crank 2 when they asked *me* "...f you could definitely say that this is the last broken preset...." ie would you mind going through every single preset checking as the designer simply can't be bothered.

Whoever did that expansion made an absolute balls-up of it.
Now, where the hell is Vanguard2?
