What's new:
New example songs
New sound packs
Mic/Line-in recording
Added Wi-Fi Export/Import
Bugs fixed
I got this when it was free back in December.
It looks great, and has a kind of no-nonsense retro approach to make tunes with.
Now with new sounds, and sampling, it just got even more fun.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Yeah well. "Programming" a sequence is a stretch.GodMadeUsFonky wrote:

"Randomly touching my iPad to make an unmusical pattern" is a better description.

The addition of sample import makes this a powerful tool. I hestitated to buy when the sounds were limited to the chippy sample sets provided. Now it's like a mini fl studio step sequencer for sequencing one shots or simple melodic bits.

I can see using it this way, but to create an entire song....not so much.gunstarhero wrote:The addition of sample import makes this a powerful tool. depends on your requirements for song complexity. limitations can force out ingenuity and creativity. plenty of classic house and techno was produced with limited sound elements and sequencing, for instance. but practically, i agree with you; i'll probably use it in conjunction with nanostudio and other things.Dewaine wrote:I can see using it this way, but to create an entire song....not so much.gunstarhero wrote:The addition of sample import makes this a powerful tool.
