Octopus presets and Lion

They're not there?

Is there a manual way to install them?

What did you do so far and How do you know they are not there ? Please give us a few more infos and we'll see

I've tried installing a couple of times and no presets are in the preset drop down. I've gone into library/audio/plugins presets and there's no presets. I've tried manually opening the package and copyi g over the presets. They still don't open, but I can manually load a prestfrom the load menu by pointing it in the right place after manually extracting the presets.

I think it's something to do with lion not allowing write access to the library?

Have you used full Installer? Update Installer does not contain presets.

Octopus files are by default located in /Library/Application Support/LinPlug/Octopus
You can find there folders such as Banks, Envelopes...

I'm pretty sure it was the full installer. Hopefully linpkug can do some testing on lion

I have tested it with latest full installer Octopus Installer 131b.dmg
and it's working as expected under OS X 10.7.3

On my Lion machine they landed in /Library/ApplicationSupport/LinPlug/Octopus/Banks as they should, I can send you a zip with this stuff if you email me if for some reason you cant get it installed.If they are there and Octopus just wont see them I would be curious how exactly you tried to load (when it was not working).

You can also find Installer Log in Window menu during installation and check it (or even share with us) to find out why it is not working.

I had the Octopus installer Octopus Installer 131
I re-downloaded and got the B installer and It's all sorted, sorry i took so long to post back,
