Looking forward to your opinions.
What would you recommend as Wizoo W2 alternative?

Any reasonably priced convolution reverbs out there (free/paywere)? The key for me is CPU consumption. Obviously the lower the better

I love WizzoVerb W2 and W5...
Still use them from time to time...
I think that the best solution these days is ValhallaRoom...
It's algorithmic and it's sensational

One of the things I loved about the Wizoo reverb was its ability to add a little algorithmic flair to IRs, which is why I added something similar to Reverberate, and I also think this has one of the lowest CPU consumption figures going as well. There is a charityware version too if your needs are for just a basic convolution reverb.ericzang wrote:Comes in 3 flavors/prices:

But then I am totally biased

I have Native Instruments Reflektor... I cannot say that I love it, but I have always used Algoruthmic ones that allow things to float in some weird alien space scene.

try for free! TAL reverb-3 http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-reverb
followed by a chorus plugin in the SEND-chain. MIX: about 20 to 30%

thanks again for giving good ideas. actually lexicon's sound is not my favourite tbh. it's too... thick for my taste. maybe plugs sound different but name lexicon triggers that thinking in my head. the bottom line is that the price tag is also not well suited to my financial possibilities.
so list to check for me:
reverberate
tal

Well, the TAL is nice, but it's a plate reverbbronxsound wrote:so list to check for me:

+1 for Reverberate... I consider it one of the best convolution reverbs out there, at any price. Great routing, true stereo and useful chorus, delay and post-EQ facilities (some features are obviously missing in Core and LE versions).

If you get into a convolution reverb that supports true stereo, make sure you try out the Samplicity M7 IRs, they're fantastic.
