Just a quick test of JamUp Pro recorded in Cubase 5 on PC. Routing is as follows: JamUp Pro on iPad 3, Apogee Jam interface, out of iPad headphone jack into Guitar Rig Mobile USB interface, out of GRM into (2) M-Audio BX-5 powered monitors. Straight recording...no mixing or mastering, no added effects (eq, limiter, compression or anything). What you see is what you get...sounds good now...after effects and mastering...sounds superb!

After the initial recording, I export all the tracks to Multitrack Daw, where I mix everything and add reverb, compression, and EQ. I can also duplicate tracks or do quad-tracking from there if I like. ....and I'm not confined to the studio in order to mix. I usually do this on the go wherever I'm at with headphones and when I'm back in the studio, I make final adjustments while listening through the monitors...export to wav when done and that's it. I'll post a "finished" copy of this demo after the weekend and you can compare the difference.
