Hi.
Post some things we can do, to lower cpu usage with Diva.
This has more to do with people sharing their sounds with others.
As others may have lower cpu specs, or no multi-threading ability.

1.Polyphonic Mode: Don't use more poly "voices" than needed.

2.Create sounds using Divine mode.
This will allow users to save more cpu using your sounds, when switching to less quality modes. Instead of killing the cpu when using higher quality modes.

3.Use Poly2 mode instead of Poly if this doesn't affect triggering too much.

4.Fine-tune the release time to keep it relatively short, as even a couple of mouse scrolls will make the difference between CPU overload without really changing on how the sound fades away (decays).

5.Change to a lower sound quality in the "Accuracy" window.

6.Don't use more "Voice Stack" than needed. Especially in polyphonic mode.

Hey yeah!

I'll add some:

-fine-tune the release time to keep it relatively short, as even a couple of mouse scrolls will make the difference between CPU overload without really changing on how the sound ...fades away...

-Use the VCF Bite (especially rev2) or the VCF cascade atm as these are the most CPU friendly of them all as I found out.
-Use delay instead of the Plate reverb if you can as it's more CPU friendly.

1. Use Poly2 mode instead of Poly if this doesn't affect triggering too much

2. Avoid cross modulation and Filter FM if you can get very similar results by using other oscillator waveforms and/or filter model / cutoff (just guessing here, I haven't actually tested the difference in CPU hit).

I'm waiting for the super-optimized soundsets here with my core2duo :)

What sound card buffer settings do you use 32 , 64 , 128, 256 , 512 , 1024 ???? at what sample rate 24 bit at 44.1 , 48 , 88.2 . 96 , or 192 ??

I'm assuming you mean real-time processing and not at rendering.

32bit or whatever the DAW is running @ 44.1k with usually 384-512 ASIO buffer delay for me.

Yep realtime , I definitely got to increase my buffer size .

Yea I've got the same.
I'm not waiting though.
