Hi,
Im making a soundtrack album for college in various film genres
and this is my horror film style track. It was inspired by that freaky bricked up wall in the basement of the Amytiville House.
All comments and listens really appreciated
Cheers.

I think it sounds pretty good. It certainly is fitting for the scene you mentioned. The biggest problem as I see it are the synth string stabs (I guess that's what they are) that come in around 45 second mark and a bit later too. They sound very digital compared to the rest, which to me is more organic. It's not really that I'm against mixing digital and organic sounds, but I just don't think they fit here. In my opinion they take me out of the dark pit you put me in with the rest. I'd go for something more sinister sounding, more grating.
For the most part though, it would work with a movie behind it.
