I don't know - but can vsampler export to any of the more common formats? So you could then import with say - Kontakt?

I loved VSampler. You could load (almost) anything.

I fear you need to export to sf2 and then import to your sampler of choice. it's a pity.

Vsampler 3 was powerful. It also had a bit transparent engine. All it needs is a Native x64 port.
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Unfortunately the devs have zero interest in this according to the distributor, and he ignored me when i asked for info to get in contact with them to buy the entire project and possibly move it to open source :(

(If anybody knows how to get in contact with the original devs, let me know please)

Vsampler is STILL excellent and it is VERY easy to convert from SF2 to whatever with Extreme Sample Converter.

Also, Vsampler saves to wav files, so you can use that with virtually ANYTHING.

well, obviously im not talking about the naked wave files, its really more about the patches. crossfades between samples via velocity or modwheel (or both), modulation assignments, envelopes, that kind of stuff.

how "deep" is the soundfont2 format in that regard, anyone who knows? never used this before. id fear it would be rather basic since its been around for such a long time, but of course i could be totally wrong, considering how ignorant i am about it ;)
