Waves NLS adds too much color and I think it could benefit from a wet/dry control.
As it is I'm not going to buy it because it has so much color I find it unusable.

Imperfection is beauty.
Normally I hate adds, but not at KVR, look at all the the toys I can get.

Maybe you're mixing too hot. I mix around -18 & usually need to drive it.
Anyway it's a coloration plug.

You're using it wrong.shalako wrote:Waves NLS adds too much color and I think it could benefit from a wet/dry control.
Take a dive into my KVR Marks

The mark is called:
"How your host should be used with emulation plugins (based on Slate VCC)"
The same rules apply to Waves NLS.

There's no good reason for you making terse and arrogant responses, so I suggest you don't do it. The rules of this forum ask that you be respectful to other posters.maxxxter wrote:wrong, that defeats the whole purpose of this plugin.robojam wrote:My guess is that this should be used as a send effect
Try being more polite in your forum responses.

Nothing is 'wrong' with saying 'wrong' when something is incorrect.maxxxter wrote:what's wrong with "wrong"?robojam wrote:If someone voices and opinion in real life do you simply reply "wrong" to them? I would be willing to bet that you don't just spit out "wrong" in real life.
You are correct, it does defeat the purpose of this plug. It's not simply to be used as a send effect.
It's for channels (obviously) , sends & busses.

If I'm incorrect point it out to me. Don't be terse with me - you're either being willfully or ignorantly blind to the fact that your response was far from the accepted way that people communicate with each other socially.maxxxter wrote:I was under that impression too, thank you.Lenticular wrote:

Better!
All I'm asking is that I get the respect on the forum that people give to strangers IRL.
Too many times I see the response of "wrong" as if in that one word all social niceties have been observed.
