hi guys

i already make electronic music with pc, use only virtual instruments and really have plenty of them and of vst effects

the fact is that i would like to learn more from the digital and / or analogue world..that is to say:

i dont want to limit myself in terms of learning the function of mechanism of a virtual synth ( subtractive...additive...and so on) but i also would like to learn something about the phase..the way analogue effects were made...and all of the "mysterious "things that, for example, are often posted in the
"Variety Of Sounds" blog...the curves...the way of function of a saturator..the path that a digital signal has..and so on

could you please suggest me an internet site, or a book, or a virtual book, or everything about that that is not too difficult for a beginner like me to understand these principles?

thanx in advance

As Carl Sagan once said Before you can make an apple pie from scratch you have to start by making a universe from scratch.

You can't get to the big picture without understanding how the smaller ones work. Synth architecture is not a one size fits all multi purpose swiss army knife. What is relevant to one system may indeed be irrelevant or inconsequential to another.
