Does anybody know if Eisosis allows license transfers for their plugins? I've emailed their Support a few times with no response.

The last correspondence I had 6 months ago was from Anthony from Eiosis Support.
It was a quick response to a question.

They're such great plugins, it would be nice if Eiosis would update all of their products to 64-bit. That was the primary factor in my recent decision to buy Sonnox TransMod over the E2 Transienter.

I'm sure glad I never bought anything other than the EQ. I think I read that some of the products don't work at all under Lion. I also wonder how many of the current difficulties might have more to do with Xavier splitting off to XILS than Slate. Who knows. Well, they do, I suppose.

When I got back into buying software for my own studio, I'd just come from a long stretch of primarily working for another and just dealing with what they had or were willing to buy. One of the first plug-ins I bought was aireq which I got for about $180 including the elicenser shipped in their group buy.

Now, several years and many, many thousands of dollars of software and hardware later, if I were to pay that much for an EQ plug-in, I'd expect it to raise the dead. It's still a pretty nice equalizer though, once you get the Q/gain interaction (yes, in reverse) and realize the gain settings are meaningless.

Does anyone have a guess as to what, if anything, it might be worth now? This is the straight original native version. I'd imagine we're at a keep it forever or nearly give it away scenario, at least in comparison to the original price. Either way, an update would be really nice.

My personal feeling on EQs and compressors is that, if I've used them in a lot of projects, they probably aren't worth selling. I made that mistake once, then went to open up an old project file and was greeted with the "you are missing 2,000 instances of the following plugin..." message. Yeah, I ended up buying it back the same day.

BTW, AirEQ looks very nice and I can't tell you how many times I almost pulled the trigger on that one.
