Magnets and Microphones

I've been put in the position where I have to record audio playing from my speakers to get some audio for a remix (If anyone could help me do this without a microphone, that would be a great help). I was happily recording away until I realized that there are magnets in my speakers that could be damaging to my microphone (Blue Yeti). Is this a reasonable concern, and if so, could the few minutes I spent doing this have hurt my microphone? Or, should I just make sure I keep it away from now on?

If your video is in the form of a digital file - mpeg or avi etc - you can strip out the audio using a converter utility. There are plenty of free things like this online.
A magnet in a speaker won't damage your mic. Magnets don't annihilate each other.

If you are recording voice you should use headphones. Also put some distance between you and your computer so the mic doesn't pick up noise.
