Hi all,
I bougt a Roland A-Pro 500 keyboard and installed its software. Now I'm trying to assign midi to the various sliders and buttons for using my synths, and I'm not very experienced in doing this (used Automap...)
I know the general theory and have no problem assigning for example channel volume to CC7.
But many settings in synths are not mentioned: filters, oscillators,...
So my question is: is it necessary/a good habit to use undefined CC's for this?
Like 14 and 15, 20 to 32?
ow do you do this kind of assignment?
Midi assigning synths: use undefined CC or what?
