Good luck with thatHcDoom wrote:Discuss ONLY this two synths.
I can't really comment on Sylenth since I only tried the demo ages ago but I really like Dune! I only have Dune BE but I really like it
It's very flexible and simply sounds great!
I haven't voted of course.
You should just buy Zebra and forget about the other synths though!

Sylenth just seems to end up in every track I do. The way the synth sounds is just quite useful.

I have demoed both synths and ended up getting sylenth from the marketplace.
I can't quite put my finger on it but somehow I was not really impressed with dune.

they both really complement each other; dune is definitely warmer, rounder. sylenth1 is buzzier...
i use them both, and in fact, NEED them both...

Grab a copy of computer music magazine and also beat magazine for the cover mount DVD, Its simply immense what One get's for such little money. Then of course choose whichever of the two synthesizers You are torn between, You would have two versions of Dune already with the CM/Beat DVDs
If You already have got the latest magware gems then please excuse this post. If not git-her-done
All the best

The Beat edition of Dune is exactly like the full version but without the effects. I always replace synth effects with external ones. That means there is basically no difference between the full version of Dune and the Beat edition for me

I voted Sylenth1. I don't love it but I like it better than Dune.
