I got one of these last year and I had no sound as well when I first installed it... until I uninstalled ASIO4ALL, which I was using for my built-in soundcard. That's worth a check for you as well.
And yes, you can adjust any of input/output levels via its front panel.

Output volume? Yes. Top right.Nicksaf wrote:Guys anyone using it please confirm. Can i adjust the output via the Quad's control panel?
If you've lost your manual, you can find an on-line copy @ one of the Roland Sites.
For example: http://www.roland.co.uk
There are some good videos on YT as well. For example:
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

I meant the software panel. Posted a pic. When i use Windows Media Player the sound is quieter so i crank up to the max. But then Cubase blows up the house and the quad is not in close range so...

You can set the input level manually or have the software set it for you. I'd really recommend that you take a look at the manual. It's well written imho.Nicksaf wrote:I meant the software panel. Posted a pic.

I did, it says:
You can control the monitor level of the audio data being input via the INPUT 1L jack, INPUT 2R jack,
or COAXIAL IN (3/4) jack.
Adjusting the monitor level does not affect the recording level.
As i understand, its just the mic or guitar monitoring volume control?
So no output control via software?

Did you check the levels of the audio mixer of Windows? That lil speaker icon in your system tray, that you right-click to get the mixer levels for Windows alerts, CD, and other devices?
And also the volume playback level of Windows Media Player.
