Since the VocaLive effects are available in Amplitube, is the plan still to keep developing VocaLive, to bring it up to where Amplitube 2.5 is?

Yes, we do plan on updating VocaLive in the future to include many of the new features we have included in the latest AmpliTube updates. This makes this deal even sweeter knowing we are planning on adding the same features.
