Big update for some people. (Alligator on 32-bit Windows. )
Propellerhead has updated Reason to version 6.5.1 and Reason Essentials to version 1.5.1.
Changes:
Fixed a bug where resetting a Combinator containing more than one selected device caused a crash.
Fixed performance issues with Alligator on 32-bit Windows.
Fixed a bug where context clicking on mixer parameters did not work if the rear of the rack was in view.
Fixed a bug where under specific conditions a Rack Extension could cause a crash.
Minor Rack Extension hosting fixes.

So much for "sandboxed rack extensions" smh it must have been a bit humbling for them to admit a rack extension crashed their program after marketing that it wouldn't crash Reason.

Remember they started on windows. And AFAIK it was praised for rock solid stability under any win/mac configuration until recently. I wonder does it have anything with dongle and or Record being integrated in reason itself in kinda short time. Because it was literally best rock solid platform for years.ttoz wrote:just finished the download, seems great so far, cheers
that' weird cause i had reason open for over 24 hours and was changing rack extensions around like they were going out of fashion and i never had a hiccup.
must have been a windows thing again.
I don't believe you can blame operating system especially if fix is possible (and indeed it is). Makes no sense because previous versions up to v5 still work rock solid on any platform.
