I've discovered a new brand of MIDI interfsce for iOS devices:

Neusonik - iM/ONE

http://www.neusonik.com/
http://www.neusonik.eu/

The important features of this are:
* can daisy-chain on to your power adaptor via a USB charge/sync cable (supplied). So the iOS devicecan be used when mains powered, not battery powered.
* can daisy-chain on to your PC/MAC for USB sync.
* is not a chunky device which attaches directly to the iOS device body, not like eg. iRig.

From what I can see here, can also act as a standard USB-MIDI interface:

Does anyone have any experience using this and or opinions ?

*I'm not asociated with this company in any way.
Michael.

Interesting! It doesn't look like there is much information about it out yet. Did you find a price sheet anywhere? I'm curious about the cost.

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

I've been quoted AU$80 here in Australia.

Thanks! I'll have to keep my eye out for it. :-)
