I love their sounds.. this remix in particular is one of my favourites.

Listen on HD 720 if you can

Their mixing techniques are something I would love to learn..

I read their main producer tech guru, used to produce Hiphop music but switched over to producing DNB now. I bought their last EP, and I hope they come out with some more stuff.

Would love to watch them work in the studio, they are pretty incredible.

Any other fans?

Noisia are sick as f**k. Dirty Dutch Motherfuckers.

Ahem. They do make quite nice Drum Unt Bass for such young lads. Keeps us old chaps on our toes. I'd love to do a mix daddio. Maybe not.

They are so good I don't even think they can by tainted by JAY-Z. Then again..

For now. They have my ultimate respect. Are you on the right forum? Noisia are Gods. Are you just trying to spread the word, brother?

I need to catch up. I have all of their 2004-7 stuff (Monster, Believe, Meditation, etc :slayer:) but I lost track of them. They were my favorite DnB artists of last decade, keeping neuro and darkstep alive amidst all the cheesy pop shite.

Noisa have been a big influence for me. Machine Gun is a great tune.
It's been a while since I've done any drum and bass type stuff but I still listen to Monster occasionally.

I prefer the older "techstep" stuff by them, but yes, they pretty much reinvented the "Reese".

I do like their collabs with Foreign Beggars (Shellshock and Contact extended especially). But else, they're indeed sick in terms of sound design.

There are barely any usable videos of them existing where they tell what they use and how, but take a look at videos of Future Music (or was it Computer Music?) with Pendulum in the studio. They do pretty much the same: run the drum samples several times through different equipment (adding even more harmonics and making stuff even more agressive and loud), and the right presets in synths.

Maybe the "Dogs on Acid" board is a better place to ask for more insight.

I was "raised" on classic feverish rustbelt USA DnB, and had fallen into a casual appreciation in my older age.
Then, Noisia's Fabric disc fell in my lap and it blew my mind again a decade later. It was exactly what DnB needed at the time, imo.

Although... Calibre.

Used to go to some really good DnB gigs back in the 90s. Got a few things in my collection, but no Noisia (yet). I should probably dig some out as it's been a while.

I think rob papen was their music teacher in school or something like that. Atleast thats what i heard. Their remix of katy perry"s e.t. has one of the coolest basslines ive ever heard. Fabric live was also how i was introduced to them as well. They have some other albums under a diff name for their softer stuff.

I think you'll find it was Alex that did that!

Talking of techstep - Dom and Roland You Can't Punish me, or anything really he has done.

I mean just about anything he has done. He is the big daddy of drum and bass for me. Noisia - I respect them - Like the Beatles - but I don't like their music so much. Now, Ed Rush and Technical Itch, now we are talking.

Noisia - young lads. Nice boys, wouldn't be surprised if they turned into the Engelbert Humperdincks of their generation and started doing ballads for old ladies. They would probably like it. And so would Noisia too.

Ed Rush, Dom and Roland, stuff like that is the only stuff that maked me wish I had a flip-top head, so I could open it and scratch my f****** brain.

For me though Dom and Roland is the most consistent to this day.
