Guitar sim foot controllers

I like Jam Up Pro
I think it sounds better (just) than all of the other guitar amp sims that I have tried on the iPhone and the iPad.
I like that its universal.
I cant get it to play nice with other music apps but hey you cant have everything.
Second on my list would be AmpKit. It sounds almoast as good, it's universal and it plays nice with the other apps I run.
What I really want is to be able to use this type of thing live.
For that I need some kind of foot controller.
I have been doing this sort of thing for a while so the Alesis Amp fills me with feelings of short life expectancy. Not saying it's not a fine product just that its inherantly limited.
The same goes for griffins controller I just get the feeling that it will be less compatable (longer term) than a device supporting a standard protocol.
So it looks like Positive Grid have got together with Alesis to build in support for the Amp kit foot controller. In addition to this I can change patch with core MIDI but I can't turn FX on or off or adjust parameters (e.g. Wah position)
No word from Agile partners on any support for core MIDI
Does anyone know if there will be support for core MIDI compatable foot controllers on either Ampkit or Jamup?
So far only Amplitube has this capacity to modify FX parameters and I really prefer the tone from the alternative apps

I thought I saw someone using line6 mobile in in conjunction with a guitar rig control to control banks, effects, wah, volume, etc....I might be wrong, but it looked as though it might work. I'll have to check YouTube again.
Rock On!

I have seen a couple of bodged together 'JB' solutions.
I don't know if the Line 6 one is official but again its reliance on propriety hard ware kinda puts me off.
I take it from your reply there are no current plans to expand the MIDI compatability of JamUp pro

Hey, JamUp Pro XT currently already supports CoreMIDI for preset switch, and we are already working on a more complete support with CoreMIDI.
Hope it helps. Rock on...

Had a bit more of a play last night with JamUp and my midi pedal and it's pretty usable. There is no delay/ reverb trail carried over from one patch to another but that would be less of an issue live where the delay and reverb should be pretty low in the mix anyway.
Audio drop out between patches is imperceptible as far as I could tell so no worries there.
It's just a shame that the wah sounds are of no use live cos I like to use wah and it sounds pretty sweet.
I also managed to get JamUp and ThumbJam or Animoog going at the same time which I was pretty chuffed with.
As long as I don't use too many processor heavy effects i can get midi guitar working as well triggering either synth although it starts to get pretty flakey pretty fast.
Well it's progress I guess.
I have a feeling that this sort of thing is just going to get better and better.

+1 on allowing delay to trail after patch change. Hope it's doable though.
Is the wah assignable to a cc?
