I am currently using Genome to sequencer some hardware analogue gear.
What I am looking for to add to this setup is an App that can be triggered via MIDI by Genome on the same iPad, that I can load some vocalsamples into.
Is there an app that can do this ?
looking for a sampler app

How about Voice Synth or Loopy or SampleLab or, or and on and on...darsho wrote:I am currently using Genome to sequencer some hardware analogue gear.

I've been looking into samplers on the iPad for a while. Here's what I've determined:darsho wrote:I am currently using Genome to sequencer some hardware analogue gear.

Probably the easiest sampler to use is SampleWiz. It does a great job with all types of sampling. However, it doesn't multisample, and if you are trying to do everything within the iPad (which I see that you aren't), it doesn't have the ability to record what you play. In this case, it may work very well for you if you are already recording external hardware.
The "Best" sampler in my opinion, for a standalone sampler app, is Thumbjam. It allows multisampling and works really well.
Another option, and I'm not sure how well it would work with Genome, is if you could get Beatmaker 2 talking with Genome Sequencer, because they have a really nice sampler built in that streams directly from disk.
Meteor has a built-in dedicated sampler too, but I don't know anything about it.
You may want to look into the ones I mentioned, and also check out this link:
